The multitude of hand dryers that have arrived on the Australian market in recent years has meant that different installation heights will now need to be considerered for different models/brands. The traditional warm air hand dryer from JD McDonald has competition from blade hand dryers, high speed hand dryers and hybrid hand dryers.

Below are the basic height recommendations for different age groups, genders and disabled users for fitting 'hands under' and 'hands in'  hand dryers. We have also provided a link to the most popular models for specific instructions as these may vary due to clearing height of water trays etc.
